DYING FETUS Announces New Drummer

July 18, 2007

Death metal juggernaut DYING FETUS has issued the following update:

"We would like to announce the addition of new drummer Trey Williams, from Baltimore, MD. We regret it has become necessary to part ways with Duane Timlin. However, we thank Duane for his contributions to the band and we wish him the best in his future endeavors. This lineup change will not have any effect on our tour plans, which will go ahead as scheduled. Trey gave us a fantastic audition; we have seen first-hand that he has the professionalism and dedication we would expect. We look forward to our next tour plans with great confidence. We feel the fans will agree that this change will be good for the band and our live performances."

DYING FETUS will embark on the North American leg of its "War of Attrition Tour" in early June. This portion will cover ground all across Canada and into the Northern U.S. Joining DYING FETUS on various dates of the tour are DAATH, PSYOPUS, COVENANCE, BLOODSHOTEYE and more.

DYING FETUS recently concluded a headlining European and North American tour in support of its new album, "War of Attrition". The band has also posted the first video from "War of Attrition", for "Homicidal Retribution", at this location. A media player for "War of Attrition", featuring video track "Homicidal Retribution" as well as "Fate of the Condemned", can be viewed here.
